In VDML, we are not distinguishing those that are formally defined from those that are not. <br /><br />We provide the ability (as does VNA) to represent both tangibles and intangibles, but without necessarily knowing or having decided what is formally defined. <br /><br />It seems to me that the contribution of VNA is to look at existing, formal business processes and expose how they actually work through the exchange of intangibles. <br /><br />If this distinction is important to the modeler, a user-defined attribute on appropriate VDML elements can be added for that purpose.Fred A.
